The Worthington Market Day Festival is making a return to historic downtown Worthington on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The popular festival was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 conditions.
The Market Day 2021 will bring crafters, vendors, food and entertainment to the streets of downtown Worthington, which means street closures and parking restrictions. The festival runs down High Street in historic downtown Worthington. The street closings and detours are:
To maintain access for emergency vehicles and facilitate traffic movement it will be necessary to temporarily post certain streets "No Parking" beginning Friday evening, October 1st. The signs will be removed and parking restrictions lifted following the Market Day Celebration at approximately 5:30 p.m. The areas to be posted temporary "No Parking" are:
Event parking is available at Thomas Worthington High School, 300 W. Dublin Granville Road. Free and convenient shuttle service is offered for visitors and vendors from 7am to 5:30 pm. The shuttles travel continuous routes from the high school to parking lots at the Worthington Inn and Griswold Center. Handicap parking is available in the public parking lot adjacent to the Worthington United Methodist Church, accessible from Hartford Street to the east. In addition, select shuttles running from the TWHS parking lot are also handicap accessible.
