In May 2018, the City of Worthington selected the Consultant team of Blue Zones LLC and Planning NEXT to engage the community in developing a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. This Plan will guide the development of bicycle and pedestrian routes, linking activity centers within the City, as well as the regional network.
As a first step in the process, Mr. Tony Hull visited the City of Worthington on June 13 – 15, 2018, to meet with the City, Steering Committee, provide an overview of the Plan development process, present the public engagement strategy for feedback, inventory existing conditions, and facilitate interviews and focus group meetings. On August 7 – 11, Mr. Dan Burden and Mr. Tony Hull returned to Worthington to facilitate community engagement, walking audits and to meet with the Steering Committee. In November, Mr. Hull returned to present the existing conditions analyses and the draft network recommendations for feedback.
