Worthington is in the middle of budget season, the time of year when City leaders consider expenditures and revenues for the upcoming year. We are committed to making the City’s finances and financial plans readily accessible and easy to understand.
You are encouraged to explore the 2024 budgets, view the presentations, learn more about what goes into the budgeting process and try your hand at balancing the numbers. A series of videos are posted, which provide simple graphic illustrations to help bring clarity to what can sometimes be confusing financial topics. You can also try out a budgeting simulation tool to run your own version of the Operating and Capital Improvements budgets and work to balance the costs of services, equipment and infrastructure improvements with available funds.
