Work is beginning to improve Worthington's streets, sidewalks and parking lots this summer as part of the Street and Sidewalk Maintenance Program. Downtown parking lots will temporarily close on August 8 & 9 for maintenance and crews will be working to make repairs on neighborhood streets throughout the City.
Contractors are temporarily closing the municipal parking lots on East and West New England Ave for maintenance on Tuesday, August 8. The High Street Lot next to the United Methodist Church will be closed on Wednesday, August 9 for maintenance. Weather permitting, both lots will re-open the same day.
The annual Street & Sidewalk Maintenance Program consists of infrastructure improvements and maintenance to various streets throughout the city based on a prioritized analysis of the city's street system.
