West Selby Bridge Replacement - Public Feedback

west selby bridge replacement public input 2023

The City of Worthington is partnering with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) on a project to replace the existing bridge on West Selby Boulevard over Rush Run. Routine inspections revealed weathering and deterioration of the bridge structure, leading to a recommendation that the bridge be replaced. The project area is located on West Selby Boulevard approximately 1/10th mile west of the intersection of High Street and West Selby Boulevard in the City of Worthington. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2024 and last approximately six months.

During construction, two-way traffic will be maintained with shifts in lanes for traffic flow in each direction. Drivers should expect temporary, short-term stops. The project will also include temporary pavement installation on the north and south sides of the road and installation of a temporary traffic signal. Access to properties located within the work zone will be maintained.

We are asking for public input to help make sure this project is viable and successful. We welcome your questions and comments and ask that all questions and comments be submitted no later than April 11, 2023 by email, phone, or mail at the contact information below.
