Worthington is currently under a flood warning from the National Weather Service, Wilmington, Ohio. The Olentangy River is rising and people need to beware of the potential for hazardous conditions.
What to know:
- The Olentangy Bike Path is closed.
- The sanitary sewer system is overflowing in some areas.
- Do not wade or play in floodwaters as they may contain raw sewage and swift currents.
- Do not drive into standing water on roadways.

Sanitary Sewer Overflow Alert
The City of Worthington Service & Engineering Department is reporting several sanitary sewer overflows due to heavy rainfall.
The overflows are occurring in the following locations:
- Chaucer Court
- Tucker Drive
- 300 W Dublin Granville Rd, Thomas Worthington High School at the Flats
- Blandford Drive
City crews responded, and will continue to mitigate the overflow and clean the area. Signage is in place to alert the public of the situation. People should avoid contact with the affected area while signs are in place.
