Leaf Collection Underway

Leaf Collection 2020

Weekly curbside leaf collection is underway and continues through December 7th in the City of Worthington. The last day to rake leaves to the curb is December 6th. Public Service crews will collect leaves city-wide a minimum of once each week. While staffing and weather prevent crews from scheduling specific streets on specific days, the goal is to pass through each neighborhood a minimum of once each week. To ensure pick-up please have your leaves raked to the curb prior to Monday morning. Crews begin collection at 7am. While more frequent pick-ups may occur, leaves raked out later in the week are not guaranteed to be picked-up.

Residents have other options to dispose of their leaves. Yard Waste collection takes place year-round each Friday. Leaves may be bagged in paper bags for Friday collection. Residents may also drop off bagged leaves at the Service & Engineering Department, 380 Highland Avenue, weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
