The City of Worthington is proud to partner with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio for Drug Take-Back Day. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means for disposing of prescription drugs while also educating the community about the potential for drug abuse and the importance of protecting the public’s health and the environment through proper disposal. Drive through Worthington's convenient drop-off location at the Worthington Division of Police, 6555 Worthington Galena Road, on Saturday, October 29th between 10am-2pm. Only pills will be accepted. No syringes, liquids or creams. For your privacy, it is recommended that you place the pills in a zip-lock bag and dispose of the bottle at home. Disposal kits will also be available at the drive-thru.
