McCord Park Renovation Project

Phase two will include the renovation of the four ball diamonds, the restroom/storage facility, the realignment of the entry drive from East Wilson Bridge Road, and the completion of the multi-use trail system that will encircle the park.

Shaker Square Playground Replacement

The Worthington Parks and Recreation team has announced plans to replace the Shaker Square Playground equipment in 2023 and is seeking community feedback on the proposed design at an upcoming open house. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year and will bring a new and improved playground experience to the neighborhood.

Tree Removal *Ongoing*

Misc. trees will be removed throughout the parks as weather permits. Street tree pruning for elevation on streets and sidewalks will take place in the northwest quadrant of the City. Click here to learn more about Worthington's Street Tree program.
