Why is my friend/relative being held in jail?
- Bond is being required in order to secure the person’s appearance in court on new charge(s) OR
- There is a warrant for the person’s arrest after he/she failed to appear in court OR
- There is a warrant for the person’s arrest after he/she failed to pay fines and costs after appearing in court.
How do I get my friend/relative out of jail?
- Post the bond as set by the court.
- Forms of payment accepted: cash, money order, cashier’s check, VISA or MasterCard. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- Location to post the bond:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except legal holidays)

Where is my friend/relative being held?
- Worthington does not have any jail facilities.
- All people are held in one of the two Franklin County jail facilities.
