Worthington's health agency, Columbus Public Health, is distributing the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine following Ohio Department of Health (ODH) guidelines.

Vaccines are available without an appointment at Columbus Public Health and a number of ongoing pop-up clinics. Learn more here.

June 10 - Worthington COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Scheduled in June

The City of Worthington is partnering with our health agency, Columbus Public Health, to bring three pop-up vaccination clinics to the Worthington community. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered. If you choose Pfizer, your second dose appointment will be scheduled when you receive your first dose. All people 12 years and older are eligible.

The vaccine clinics are taking place in the Community Room at the Worthington Community Center, 345 E. Wilson Bridge Road on the following dates:

Celeste Center Drive-thru Clinic Closing 

Columbus Public Health’s drive-thru vaccine clinic at the Celeste Center will close on June 26. Vaccines will still be available by walk-in or appointment at Columbus Public Health or at pop-up community clinics. People who get their first dose of Pfizer at the Celeste Center and are due for their second dose in July will need to get their second vaccine at Columbus Public Health.

June 10 - Fireworks are back for July 4

The Worthington community will once again celebrate Independence Day with Fireworks on the Fourth of July, however, the Rotary Family Picnic is delayed until Labor Day weekend. Learn more here.

June 10- Worthington COVID-19 Cases

As of June 10, 2021, the City of Worthington has 1,145 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Sadly, 57 Worthington residents have died due to the coronavirus. 53 of those people lived in long-term care settings. Our sincere sympathies are with the friends and families of those Worthington residents who have died as a result of COVID-19.

As of June 10, 2021, there are 91,210 confirmed cases in the Columbus Public Health (CPH) jurisdiction, which includes Worthington. 1,106 people in the CPH jurisdiction have died.
