August 27 - Worthington Confirmed COVID-19 Cases
As of August 27, 2020, the City of Worthington has 242 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and, sadly, 43 deaths reported of Worthington residents. 42 of those were Worthington residents living in long term care facilities. Our sympathies continue to be with the loved ones of these Worthington residents who have died as a result of COVID-19.
Worthington cases are included in the Columbus Public Health (CPH) statistics because they are our contracted public health provider. As of August 27, 2020, there are 16,325 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the CPH jurisdiction. There have been a total of 431 deaths in the CPH jurisdiction.
August 27 - Garage Sale Permits Now Available
Garage sale permit applications are being accepted once again for Worthington residents. Anyone wishing to hold a garage sale is required to follow these State of Ohio Health Protocols. Applications may be downloaded or picked up in person and submitted at the City Clerk's counter, which is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm at the Worthington Municipal Building, 6550 N. High Steet. Please call 614-436-3100 for more information.
The issuance of block party, right-of-way solicitation and door-to-door solicitation permits continue to be suspended.
