Current Situation Updates
Updated 8/19/2022
The mask advisory has been lifted for Worthington and all of Franklin County after Franklin County moved to the medium COVID-19 transmission level of the CDC's data tracker.
Under medium community transmission level for COVID-19, the CDC recommends residents stay up to date on COVID-19 vaccines and boosters, get tested if they have symptoms, and wear a mask if they have symptoms, a positive test or exposure to someone with COVID-19.
Worthington COVID-19 Cases
The City of Worthington is no longer posting specific Worthington case numbers. Because the City of Worthington is part of the Columbus Public Health (CPH) jurisdiction, Worthington information is included in CPH statistics, which are identified and available to review here.
The Worthington Community Center and Griswold Center have a limited supply of COVID-19 test kits.
The City of Worthington has a limited supply of free take-home COVID-19 testing kits available to pick up at the Worthington Community Center and Griswold Center. Kits can be picked up during open hours.
You may request one test kit for each member of your household. Supplies are limited.
Vaccines and Boosters
Public Health experts recommend everyone ages 6 months and older get a COVID-19 vaccine to help protect against COVID-19. Booster doses are now available to anyone 5 years of age or older. Columbus Public Health offers a number of vaccine clinic times and locations. Find one that works for you and your family here: columbus.gov/c19vax.
