Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

2/15/2023 Notice:  The electric vehicle (EV) charging station located in Old Worthington (W. New England parking lot) has been down since November 2023. The City has learned that the station has extensive internal damage. We are working with ChargePoint to determine the timing of repairs/replacement. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please visit the City’s other charging station located at the Worthington Community Center!

The City of Worthington received funding through the AEP Ohio rebate program to install two ChargePoint Express 250 direct current (DC) fast chargers. Both chargers are equipped with CHAdeMO and CCS1 cables and are available to residents, employers, and visitors!

The cost to charge your vehicle is variable and will be set at a rate that allows the City to break even. The City desires to set the rate at a price per minute that covers the City’s expenses without generating a profit.
