Perry Park was completed in 1983 and the remaining fields were lighted in 1988. The combination baseball, softball and soccer fields are lighted and irrigated. Park visitors also have a choice of rest room facilities, drinking fountains and two sand volleyball courts with parking for nearly 200 cars.

The park is located adjacent to Perry Middle School and provides the school additional outdoor recreational facilities and an outdoor laboratory.
