Located just two blocks from the center of town, the East Granville Road Park provides an opportunity to get close to nature. The eight acre, heavily wooded site has trails to wander and signs to show unnoticed treasures. There are benches along the way to allow for quiet contemplation and observation.

The trails pass through the "woodland" room and pass by geological displays. Most of the trail is handicapped accessible, including the new play equipment area set up on a safety rubberized surface.

The walk in the park in the middle of town is more pleasant than most.
