A gift so nice you will want one for yourself!

In celebration of its 50th birthday, the Worthington Historical Society has commissioned a new limited quantity pouring of the rare Bishop Chase’s table-top trivet with Virginia Metalcrafters. This company produces quality museum brasses, including those for Colonial Williamsburg, the Smithsonian, Winterthur and Historic Charleston Museums.
Each trivet is individually hand-cast in sand as was done in the 1700's. They are made of heavy brass with a solid wood hand-turned handle.
This trivet is a collector’s item since it is the only known handled trivet being produced today.
It comes in a sturdy gift box with a copy of the history of Bishop Chase. Approximate size length 13 ½”, width 6 ¾”.
The Bishop Chase Trivet costs $106, which includes shipping and Ohio sales tax. You may view a copy of the trivet and purchase them at the Old Rectory or purchase them by mail.
We do not have the ability to process Charge or Debit cards or accept online orders. Please print the Gift Shop order form and make all payments by check.
