Things to know before you go:

  • No registration is needed for members! Non-members will need to go online to purchase their one-time use day pass. You may purchase more than one at a time for future dates.
  • Remember to bring your key tag so you can scan in when you arrive. You will also be scanning out when you leave the facility.
  • Maximum occupancy will be set at 50. If we reach 50, anyone in line will have to wait until someone checks out.
  • Staff will continue to clean and disinfect the building throughout open hours.
  • Please make sure you have signed the COVID-19 waiver before using the facility. There is one attached to this email and we will have them on hand when you arrive (if you have already signed one, no need to sign another one.)

Currently, the pool, locker rooms, childcare, open gyms, and front desk remain closed but plans to reopen are in the works. Griswold Center and Selby Shelter are closed until further notice. We are continuing to assess the feasibility of offering summer programs that may begin in July. We will continue exploring options for safe activities that meet state operating guidelines, for the well-being of our patrons and staff.

Group Fitness Classes

The Community Center is excited to offer in-person group fitness classes, adhering to the recommended guidelines from the Department of Health. Classes start Monday, and you must pre-register. Use the link below to find offerings and register for your favorite class! Please read class descriptions to learn about purchasing punch cards and one-time drop-in passes.

Previous Facility Updates

The City has carefully reviewed the protocols and, based on the guidelines and the advice of local health experts, has a plan in place to begin reopening some facilities. As facilities reopen, these safety measures already in place at a limited number of open City facilities, as well as other sector and sports-specific State protocols will be in place. Each location will be signed with specific safety protocols that each user is responsible for following. It is important for you to abide by these guidelines so that all users are protected and safe, and the facilities can remain open for the community to enjoy.

Please see the timeline below for information on all Parks & Recreation facilities and amenities that have been closed to the public. We will continue to provide information on our website as more details become available. Thank you for your patience as we work hard to responsibly bring back facilities and programs under the new standards.
