Old Worthington Market Day

Saturday, September 23, 2017

On Market Day, Worthington's largest one-day festival, artisans gather on the streets of downtown Worthington to present a colorful and varied display of quality hand-crafted goods from jewelry, pottery and ceramics to beautiful paintings, decorative clothing and unique wood products. More than 250 exhibitors display their wares each year, and an estimated crowd of 20,000 visitors and residents enjoy the event throughout the day. Community and local charitable groups also have fundraising and informational booths on display, and a host of food vendors provide meals, snacks and concessions ranging from signature local restaurant dishes to carnival-atmosphere snacks.

The Worthington Market Day Festival takes place on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., which means street closures and parking restrictions in the City of Worthington.  The festival runs down High Street in historic downtown Worthington.

Parking is available throughout the day at Thomas Worthington High School, with shuttle service to and from the festival. Shuttles will pick up and drop off on the west side of TWHS and at the Griswold Center parking lot.

  • The traffic detour for northbound traffic is High St. to east on E. South St.; north on Hartford St.; west on Rt. 161 and north on High St.
