rendering 12-13-17

The Kemper House, an Alzheimer's, dementia and memory care facility, is proposed on the former Worthington Foods site on the northwest corner of Proprietor's and Dublin Granville Road. Developers have requested to rezone the 4.8 acre site from the I-1 District (Restricted Industrial) to a Planned Unit Development (PUD). They have proposed 4 interconnected buildings, totaling approximately 50,000 sq. ft. in size. The proposal includes 54 private and semi-private rooms.

The Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) and Architectural Review Board (ARB) have reviewed the site plan and preliminary architecture. Some design elements were updated prior to approval by the ARB/MPC at its December 14, 2017 meeting. Current plans are recommended for approval by the ARB/MPC. The project was approved at the Tuesday, January 16, 2018 Worthington City Council meeting. The PUD becomes effective March 19, 2018. The final architectural plans will be submitted to  ARB/MPC for approval at a later date.
